19th November 2023 Windsurfing: Levington Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: 21.25 mile (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Sunday 19th November – Windsurf *** River Orwell at Levington Marina – cloudy. Foil – 00.00 knot max, 00.00 knot ave, 00.00 knot hour, 00.00 knot mile, 34.00 km., 00.00 knot alpha. Starboard Freeride 150 and a Tushingham Storm 5.2. Headed down to Levington Marina arriving at 11.30 to meet up with Robert , no Mag today as she is looking after the Granddaughter, the lovely Maeva. The wind looked promising so we both rigged small, I went with 5.2 which was pretty good while Robert went for 4m which was probably a little under. I had a nice couple of hours sailing mainly on the corner and then uo towards Pin Mill, the 5.2 gybes like a dream, love it:) I bumped into Swainy out in a yacht for the weekend instructiung a group of ladies, I tried to follow them towards Felixstowe docks but the wind did not play ball, in fact it had eased right back so wobbled back to call it a day. Sadly my much loved and very old GT – 31 would recognise the sd card so seem to have lost the session, I am trying to recover it. Will be looking for another GT – 31 in good condition if I can find one? Photo Album here |
